Braids are definitely having a manly moment right now.
First Chris Pratt showed off his french-braiding skills during an interview, and now Cary Fukunaga has taken it to a whole new level by rocking two neat braids at the 2014 Emmys.
As he accepted the award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, Cary debuted his unusual hairdo to the world, complete with geek-chic glasses and an impeccable tux.
The tightly braided hairstyle wasn’t a one-man job, however. At the HBO Emmys after-party, the Swedish/Japanese director told Vulture that he lacked “[those] kinds of skills” and he “had help” putting it together.
He described the style as “business in the front, party in the back,” and we have to say, he might be pulling it off!
