Is romance brewing on The Block NZ? Sparks certainly seemed to be flying between single contestants Sam Cable and Emma Diamond during last night’s episode, when the pair were caught on camera seemingly waking up together in Sam’s bed.
“I slept in, I was supposed to get into my bed,” Emma could be heard saying under the sheets as she joked that she “must have sleepwalked” her way in there.

The pair attempted to stay hidden under the covers for as long as possible, but eventually Emma got up and made a run for it back to her own house, revealing a shirtless Sam still in the bed.
Sam’s partner Emmett Vallender said that he slept on the scaffolding during the night, while across the way, Emma’s partner Courtney MacKay admitted she hadn’t been able to find her partner when she woke up at their own house.
News of the rumoured hook-up travelled fast around Block HQ, and it looks like the budding couple have plenty of support from their fellow contestants!
Dylan Cossey and Dylan Guitink could be seen cheering the two on from their house, telling the cameras, “We knew it was coming, we could see the love blossoming in the air from day one.”
“I saw them kissing the other night, down the back – about bloody time I reckon!” Dyls added.
Despite Emma trying to brush it off as being “blown out of proportion”, she later confessed that “Sam and I are getting it on.”
Both the blonde beauty and her Wellington-based beau declined to comment when approached by Woman’s Day this morning, but it looks like love could be in the air at Block HQ!
