After their ruff week tackling master bedrooms and en suites on The Block NZ: Villa Wars, the show’s burnt-out blokes could do with a cuddle.
But rather than turning to their gorgeous girlfriends for a squeeze, TV3 contestants Jeremy Hill, Hayden Campbell and Mitch Davies are finding comfort in some cuddly canines on our Woman’s Day shoot!

New Plymouth ad-agency owner Jeremy Hill kicks back with his adorable dog Rudy.
Mitch Davies’ dog Bodhi actually belongs to his Block head builder – but Mitch says Bodhi’s “one of the boys” at the construction site!
“It’s a good wee touch as we have our chocolate Labrador back home. His name his Chopper and they’ve very similar,” Mitch told us.
Jeremy, who’s competing on the show with longtime love Cat Glass, says the two are playing their own game.
“We are running on adrenaline, trusting ourselves and enjoying the ride,” he said.
As a former member of the police force, Hayden Campbell has a special appreciation for dogs – and how cute is his pint-sized pooch Gali?
“When you’re on the job, there are few people who can understand what you go through, but your dog never asks questions and doesn’t judge you for what you’ve done during the day,” Hayden says.
