Axed X Factor NZ judges Willy Moon and Natalia Kills have made their first public apology since the controversial episode that got them fired.

Both stars took to Instagram to post their own apology letters about the incident, which saw them labelling contestant Joe Irvine a “laughingstock” and comparing him to fictional serial killer Norman Bates.
“Joe, I hope you can forgive me and I wish you all the best! Be natural, unconventional and be you!” Natalia wrote.
