She’s the self-described “firecracker” of this season of Married At First Sight Australia – and Morena Farina sure is making some noise outside of the experiment, going rogue by hosting a bizarre viewing party in honour of herself!
Defying the show’s strict rules, the 57-year-old DJ and fitness instructor organised a huge viewing party. She hosted it in her home town of Melbourne to watch the show’s first few episodes.
The event came complete with a red carpet, a media wall, a life-size cardboard cut-out of Morena, and a huge crowd of friends, family and former MAFS stars, including last season’s geeky bride Natalie Parham and 2023’s “freak in the sheets” Melissa Sheppard.

At the party, Morena made the most of her moment in the spotlight by going on an almighty tirade against her TV husband Tony Mojanovski.
“I thought I would end up with maybe someone who smelled. Maybe even someone who was up to my nipples,” she said. “I knew I was going to end up with someone who I wasn’t physically attracted to. But never, ever, ever did I expect to be matched with someone who is unavailable.”
The crowd was gobsmacked by this comment, which alluded to rumours that Wollongong charter boat captain Tony, 53, was separated but still married when he went on MAFS.

“But that’s OK. That’s my journey,” Morena said, adding that she tried to get producers to edit her out of the show. “I actually said to them, ‘If you can remove me and make me invisible, just make Tony marry himself!’”
Morena went on to take aim at the people who make MAFS. She said she couldn’t believe they “get away with what they do”.
