MKR favourites Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge are winging their way back to our shores for a road trip around Aotearoa in a caravan called Betty, which we’ll see in their new show Off The Grid.
Manu, 50, says, “Every time I go to New Zealand, I love it more and more, and I can’t wait for Kiwis to see the newest series. Colin and I had an absolute ball. We’re two peas in a pod – double trouble! We saw more of Aotearoa than ever before, meeting new people, and discovering new ingredients and food trends.”

Colin, 51, adds, “We spend so much time in NZ and the people are so friendly, it feels like coming back to our second home. I’m looking forward to everyone seeing the real us, warts and all. We see more of the Māori culture, the beautiful landscapes and, of course, the food. I was hoping not to see grumpy Manu. Spoiler: I did!”
The news came as part of TVNZ’s new-season announcement, which also includes Celebrity Treasure Island favourite Bubbah Olo’s funny documentary series Don’t, which explores the big life choices facing young Kiwis.

The comedian, 28, says, “Don’t is basically all those convos you have with your friends about marriage, kids and buying a house, except we get to talk to experts – real people living the way they wanna – and then also some actual experts who studied, and know the real ins and outs!”
