Surprisingly, Kelly didn’t mention the heated debate around Giuliana’s ‘patchouli and weed’ comment, which the E! presenter made in reference to teen actress Zendaya’s dreadlocks.
Shortly after the controversial episode aired, Kelly put herself firmly on Zendaya’s side by tweeting that she did not “condone racism” and was “seriously questioning staying on the show”.
However, while speaking on mum Sharon’s talk show The Talk yesterday, Kelly stayed positive about the experience.
“You know what, it was the five best working years of my life. I am so grateful for the experience,” she revealed.
“Working with Joan Rivers for five years was incredible. I learned so much, and I’m excited for my future now. I want to try new things.”
Seems like Kelly’s taking the high road on this one – and there are already plenty of rumoured contenders for her spot on the show, including Khloe Kardashian and model Chrissy Teigen.
