From his first days at school to starting his own family, we look back on William’s life as he celebrates his 34th birthday.

At age 2, Wills was already posing for the press. Here he is looking cute in the garden at Kensington Palace on his birthday.

Here the young prince is as he leaves the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital after the birth of his brother, a prince who was to be named Harry. This particular outfit was much later worn by his own son, Prince George at Princess Charlotte’s christening.

Princess Diana and Prince William accompanied Harry on his first day at Eton in 1995, where Wills was already in attendance.

In 1999, at age 17, Wills pulled up to Highgrove in a Ford Focus with L plates.

Prince William went away to the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland, in 2001. Less than a month before his 21st birthday, Prince William ran along the beach near his university home, and at this point, in 2003, the young prince was quite possibly the most eligible bachelor in the world.

But not for long! Kate Middleton caught Wills’ eye. Here they are on the day of their graduation ceremony at St Andrew’s University in Scotland on June 23, 2005.

Back in 2010, prince William visited New Zealand and opened the Supreme Court in Wellington. He is seen here greeting Sir Paul Reeves, Former Governor General.

When Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement on November 16, 2010, they posed for photographs in St James Palace. Kate looked beautiful and the world got a glimpse of the soon to be wedded royal couple.

In 2013, Catherine and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge left the same Lindo wing that Wills had visited baby Harry in with their own baby Prince George.

In one of the most celebrated events, Prince William of Cambridge married Kate Middleton in Westminster Abbey in 2010 and she became known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

In 2015, Princes George and William waved as they went back to the Lindo wing to welcome George’s baby sister, Princess Charlotte into the world.

Prince William, Prince George, Duchess Catherine and Princess Charlotte arrived at Charlotte’s Christening on July 5th 2015. If you take a look at George’s cute little outfit, it is exactly the same as the one his father wore when he was a toddler.
