Prince George to inherit Dad’s car

If it's good enough for James Bond, it's good enough for the little Prince.

After a few years parked on display in the Sandringham Museum, and a quick tune up, Prince William’s half-size Aston Martin will go to Prince George as soon as he is old enough to drive it.

The miniature V8 Volante was William’s when he was a boy and is complete with leather seats and a 160cc Honda engine reports Mirror.

Prince Charles gave the miniature car, which was first made famous in 1987 by Timothy Dalton as James Bond in The Living Daylights, to Prince William in 1988.

A royal source told the Daily Express: “You can hear the car before you see it because it’s quite noisy. It’s common knowledge that Prince William has got it running again so that George can have it.

“The car has been in the Sandringham museum for many years after William and Harry outgrew it but it’s always belonged to them so there was nothing to stop them using it again.

“Everyone is looking forward to seeing George drive it. I should think he’ll be in the car within a year.”
