Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have stepped out in Australia for the first time following their exciting pregnancy announcement last night, and the Duchess is absolutely glowing!

The pair were seen at Admiralty House, the official residence of the Governor-General of Australia, where they were welcomed by the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, Lady Cosgrove.

Meghan wore a stunning white dress by Australian designer Karen Gee.

The newlyweds couldn’t have looked happier!

Prince Harry and his wife announced their baby news hardly more than 12 hours ago, but it’s clear they’re both ecstatic.

The pair got a great view of the Sydney Opera House.

The couple couldn’t have looked happier following what must have been a whirlwind night after announcing their baby joy to the world.

Wearing a stunning white dress, named the ‘Blessed’ dress by Australian designer Karen Gee, the fitted style gives royal baby-watchers a look at Meghan’s new baby bump!

According to the Daily Mail, Sir Peter Cosgrove and Lynn gave the couple a toy kangaroo and a joey. Meghan excitedly said: “Our first baby gift!”

In true Aussie style, they were also given a pair of baby Ugg boots, of which Harry said were “awesome”.

Harry and Meghan were given Australian-themed gifts from the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, Lady Cosgrove.

She’s glowing!

Fans and royals alike have been quick to react to the exciting news.

The Palace confirmed that the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Prince William and Duchess Catherine were notified of Duchess Meghan’s pregnancy at Princess Eugenie’s wedding.

The Duchess of Sussex’s mother, Doria Ragland is excited to become a grandmother.

“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news, and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Meanwhile Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison also shared his best with the royal couple, Tweeting: “What fantastic news! Australia is thrilled for you both. Looking forward to sharing in the joy during your stay down under.”

After the event this morning, the newlyweds will visit Taronga Zoo with the New South Wales Premier. There, they will meet two koalas and their joeys that are part of the Zoo’s breeding program.

They will next board a boat and get a real Sydney experience, travelling across Sydney Harbour to the Opera House.

Later today, the Duke and Duchess will exit the Opera House and meet members of the public.
