Ridge and Jade are gearing up to be one of the more interesting pairings on Married At First Sight Australia 2024.
Ready to farewell his party-boy lifestyle, psychiatric nurse Ridge, 27, hopes the MAFS experts has found him a love like his parents and refuses to “settle for anything less.”
For Ridge, appearances are of major importance for his desired partner.
“I’m not going to get hard for a personality,” he said. “I don’t want her to tell me how good looking I am, I tell myself that everyday I don’t need two people to tell me that.”
Meanwhile, 26-year-old executive assistant Jade has struggled to navigate the dating world as a mother to an 8-year-old daughter.
“She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I expected to marry V’s dad, but when she was a month or two old he cheated on me with my best friend,” he revealed.

“I appreciate the honesty but that’s sick, I can’t wait to meet her,” he told his wife.
He later told the camera crew: “Her having a daughter doesn’t faze me one bit, at the end of the day I came here to look for something that’s going to last a lifetime and it’s still early but its good energy, good vibes.
“I’ve always seen myself as a dad. I want to give this everything and do my best by her in this experiment.”
While Ridge may have a wild side, it is his compassion that could make their relationship.
