After her heartbreaking departure from The Bachelor New Zealand last night, it seems Alicia Cowan’s journey to find Mr Right still isn’t over.
“I still feel lonely,” the 27-year-old animal lover confessed to Woman’s Day in an earlier interview.
“I have everything else together, but I’m missing that final, vital ingredient. I’m three years away from 30 and three animals away from crazy.”
The dark-haired beauty was the latest bachelorette left rose-less on the reality dating show this week, after making the risky decision not to ask Jordan for some one-on-one time during the cocktail party. After a tense rose ceremony, Jordan opted not to give the Te Awamutu resident the last rose – but Alicia says she hasn’t given up on finding that special someone.
“I definitely saw a lot of potential in Jordan but I think he’s a lot keener on travelling than I am and that wouldn’t have been practical with my furry children. So I’m definitely still looking for love. I can’t wait to find my special someone who accepts me quirkiness and all,” she says.

What animal are you? With Alicia from The Bachelor

Alicia’s search for love on The Bachelor New Zealand came to an end on last night’s episode, as the brunette beauty was sent home from Hawaii.

“I still feel lonely,” the 27-year-old animal lover confessed to Woman’s Day when we caught up with her earlier this year.

“I have everything else together, but I’m missing that final, vital ingredient. I’m three years away from 30 and three animals away from crazy,” she told us.

The Te Awamutu resident lives on a “funny farm” with 20 pets – including Rambo the miniature pony.

Although she didn’t find love with Jordan Mauger, Alicia says she’s still optimistic the right man for her is out there.

“I’m looking for my best friend, the love of my life, and I can’t wait to find him.”
