Two weeks after her shocking split with Calvin Harris hit the news, Taylor Swift has been pictured locking lips with a new beau – and it’s none other than Thor star Tom Hiddleston.
In new photos published by The Sun, the British actor and the blonde beauty can be seen intertwined in a cosy embrace during a romantic day out on a beach in Rhode Island.
Taylor, 26, and Tom, 35, were reportedly watching the sunset together during their laid-back date, with one fellow beach-goer telling the publication, “They were all over each other – hugging and kissing – even though there were 20 people coming and going on the beach”.
“They looked like any young couple madly in love without a care in the world.”
The pair were first seen together at the Met Gala this year, where they were filmed enjoying a friendly dance-off together during the after party celebrations. At the time, Taylor and Calvin were still an item – but Tom has been open about his admiration for the popstar.
“I sat next to her at dinner that night and she was very charming. She is amazing – I’ve seen a couple of her videos,” the actor told MTV after the video of their dance-off went viral.
“I think ‘Shake It Off’ was released around the time we made [Tom’s film] I Saw The Light and she’s very cool, yeah.”

Meanwhile, the news of Taylor’s hot new romance seems to have spread to her ex-boyfriend, with Calvin unfollowing both Taylor and her brother on Twitter today. He also deleted his original tweet announcing the breakup, where he maintained that the two had “a huge amount of love and respect” for each other despite their breakup.
However, a source tells People the Scottish DJ and music producer isn’t nursing any bad blood towards his famous ex.
“He always just wanted the best for Taylor. He just wants her to be happy.”
