Kiwi opera star Pene Pati has tied the knot with his soprano sweetheart Amina Edris in a fairytale ceremony.
The happy couple wed on Friday at the picturesque Villa Maria Estate in Mangere, the same place where Pene, 27, got down on one knee and popped the question a year earlier during a concert.
Sol3 Mio shared a photo of the pair on Facebook, writing: “It’s official ladies and gentlemen … the brother is off the market.”
On Saturday, Pene shared the same photo on his own Facebook page with a sweet dedication to his new wife.
“Woke up this morning a married man. You know what? I actually like it! My Amina…we did it! I love you so much. Let’s sing up a storm,” he wrote.
Photographer Poppy Moss shared a few more photos from the couple’s big day on social media as well, congratulating Pene and Amina on the “most magical of days”.

“It was all about Amina and Pene and their closest family and friends,” she wrote.
“Everyone cried during their vows and when it all got too much they made everyone laugh when they would lighten it all up with their humour. It was an honour to document this gorgeous day.”
Pene and Amina’s mutual passion for singing brought them together back in 2011, when they first laid eyes on each other during a singing course in Christchurch.
“She loved me before Sol3 Mio’s success so I know she loves me for who I am,” Pene told the New Zealand Herald last month.
“I’m a very lucky man.”
