Sharon – who’s famously been married to Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne for over three decades – made the surprising reveal during a recent episode of The Talk chat show, telling her co-hosts, “I always think everybody is gay – so am I.”
The 63-year-old went on to say she regretted having missed out on exploring her attraction to women, explaining that she felt she had lost her chance.
“I am not a little bit gay, I am extremely interested in the fact of what I missed out on. But it is too late now,” she continued.
When another one of the hosts revealed she was often attracted to women, Sharon replied, “There is nothing wrong with that.”
The former X Factor judge has been married to hubby Ozzy for 33 years, and the pair have three children together – Kelly, Jack and Aimee.
The couple have weathered many ups and downs throughout their decades-long marriage, with several of them playing out in the public eye. In 2014, Sharon opened up about how the pair almost divorced in 2013, after Ozzy relapsed again.
“I thought, ‘I can’t carry this any more. It’s what I have always done and I’m tired,” she revealed in her autobiography Unbreakable.
However, the two eventually reconciled after Ozzy began seeing a counsellor and a psychiatrist on his own, with Sharon revealing she had learnt to accept her husband.
“You can’t change people. You either accept them as they are or you go,” she said.
