Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is set to be a dad all over again at the age of 68.
The musician is expecting twins with his third wife Sally, 37, and the couple couldn’t be more excited to meet their new arrivals next year.
“Sally and Ronnie Wood are delighted to announce that they are expecting twins in June 2016,” a spokesperson for the band said.
“Needless to say, they are thrilled and overjoyed with the wonderful news.”
This will be Sally’s first child, but Ronnie already has plenty of experience with parenthood, thanks to an ever-growing brood that includes four children and ten grandchildren.
His eldest son Jesse was born in 1976, when the rocker was married to his first wife Krissy (nèe Findlay). In 1985, he married his second wife Jo (nèe Karslake) and the couple welcomed a daughter named Leah and a son named Tyrone. Ronnie also formally adopted Jamie, Jo’s son from a previous marriage, before the couple divorced in 2009.

Ronnie and Sally, a theatre producer, tied the knot on December 21, 2012, after dating for just eight months. Fellow rocker Rod Stewart served as best man at the nuptials, and The Mirror reports that Ronnie has tapped his pal to be the godparent to his twin bundles of joy.
“Rod is an inspiration to Ronnie,” a source told The Mirror.
“If they christen the children Rod will be first in line to be godparent. Ronnie has been confiding in him a lot and getting great advice about changing nappies.”
Rod, 70, welcomed his eighth child in 2011, so he’ll have plenty of tips to share with Ronnie!
