Real Housewife Anne ‘Champagne Lady’ Batley Burton and Rock Chick Vickie Loach are absolutely fizzing about the relaunch of their Champagne Christmas song.
The Real Housewives of Auckland made waves in the US when it screened there this year (Lena Dunham was a fan!). When the Huffington Post interviewed Anne, they encouraged her to do a more professional version of the song she put out last year.
Enter Alan Jansson – the man behind OMC’s hit song ‘How Bizarre.’ Anne, Vickie and Alan have produced a commercial length version of their Christmas song with loads of wang dang doodle. It will be available online and all profits will go to Anne’s charity, The NZ Cat Foundation.
“Vickie and I are having a fabulous event to launch this new version of the song,” says Anne. “There’s finger food, entertainment and Champagne Jacquart of course! All of the money will be put towards saving the pussies, which is particularly important at Christmas!”
“We’d love to see you there! Don’t forget some cash for the raffle and be ready to bid on a Magnum of Champagne Jacquart.”
