Whether it be a subtle batch of Botox or a whole new nose, in Hollywood going under the knife is just as common as getting your car serviced.
But there’s no denying plastic surgery can be a dangerous slippery slope and once you plump, fill and inject it’s often hard to step away from the doctor’s office.
This week former Baywatch stunner Pamela Anderson, 48, and actress Priscilla Presley, 70, made headlines when they attended the Last Chance For Animals Annual Benefit Gala in Beverly Hills, with the duo’s suspiciously taut complexions sending surgery speculation into overdrive.
While Pammy has always been coy about what work she’s had done, she credits a dedicated skin-care regimen to her glowing looks.
“I’m not against plastic surgery, what I’ve had done will stay with me and that’s fine, but I don’t want anything else. I’ll do facials, but I don’t want to go down the scary route and have knives plunged into me.”
“I don’t mind aging. I’ve never been a classical beauty. I’ve always had that Playboy vibe. I don’t want to chase youth. Anyway, I find it chases me,” the blonde bombshell has vouched.
One lady who can’t be so cryptic is New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, whose addiction for perfection has landed her the infamous nickname Cat Woman due to her feline features.
Legend says the 75-year-old has dropped more than $4 million dollars on procedures to make her look like a cat – her ex-husbands favourite animal.
To get to the bottom of what exactly these stars have had done Woman’s Day spoke to plastic surgeon Dr James Southwell-Keely, who has not treated these women but has years of experience in the field, to find out his expert opinion.

Aged 22 in 2006 (L) Khloe was a fresh-faced young woman on the cusp of her mega-successful reality TV career, and these days (R), the 31-year-old is almost unrecognisable as her stardom continues to sky-rocket.

The reality star stepped out recently to promote her new book in LA, but there was only one thing on everybody’s mind – how much her face had changed! With her full lips and even fuller cheeks, there’s no denying that she has definitely changed up her look since 2007 (L). “The most striking changes are her nose and lips. She has a a more refined nose. The tip of her nose is less bulbous and is has been subtly rotated upwards,” Dr James Southwell-Keely explained to Woman’s Day. The plastic surgeon speculates she has undergone a nose job and had fillers.

With her angelic features Pamela Anderson (on the left in 1994 and right in 2015) became an overnight sensation in the Nineties. But these days, her raised cheekbones, plump pout and smooth forehead have many wondering if she’s had a little help to maintain her timeless beauty.

With her angelic features Pamela Anderson (on the left in 1994 and right in 2015) became an overnight sensation in the Nineties. But these days, her raised cheekbones, plump pout and smooth forehead have many wondering if she’s had a little help to maintain her timeless beauty.

Experts claim 60-year-old Italian fashion powerhouse Donatella Versace, pictured in 1994 on the left and 2015 on the right, has undergone a nose job, lip fillers, chin implants and Botox.

In 1976 Priscilla Presley (L) was a true beauty – it’s little wonder she caught the eye of superstar Elvis Presley. Fast forward to the present day (R) and the Norway-born actress looks decades younger than her 70 years.

In 2008 the star’s publicist admitted the wife of Elvis, pictured at their 1976 nuptials, had undergone botched plastic surgery by an unlicensed doctor. “It is likely that rhinoplasty has softened her nose. Her lips appear to have received filler and Botox eliminates her facial wrinkles,” Dr James Southwell-Keely explains of her current-day appearance.

Demi Moore is just smooth and line-free now (R) as she was 12 years ago (L). “I have had something done but it’s not on my face,” she told Elle UK. “Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife,” the 52-year-old hinted.

Meanwhile plastic surgeon Dr James Southwell-Keely thinks otherwise, claiming the star’s “lower facial squareness” suggests a “facelift with fillers or fat transfer.” He adds: “Upper and lower blepharoplasty would account for the absence of stigmata of periorbital aging and a subtle change in the shape of her eyes. Finally Botox helps to nullify her facial wrinkles.”

Meg Ryan is frozen in time! The 53-year-old seems to be just as fresh-faced as she was in her glory days. Dr James Southwell-Keely believes the Sleepless in Seattle actress has had a facelift, upper blepharoplasty (eyelid reconstruction) and lip fillers
