AT ONE
After weeks of training and plenty of hype for her upcoming bout in the boxing ring, Bachelor New Zealand runner-up Nazanin Khanjani bowed out of her match against Lily Taurau due to medical reasons.
Before the news was announced, we shared Naz’s last behind-the-scenes video of her training progress in the lead-up to the Road to the Title event.
AT TWO
With Naz out of their much-hyped fight, it was down to Christchurch pre-school teacher Laura Newell to step in to fill her shoes. The 26-year-old agreed to take on the fight with less than 24 hours notice, and while Lily eventually went on to win, there’s no denying the bravery of both competitors on the night.
AT THREE
It was undoubtedly the biggest celebrity feud of the week – if not the whole year – and it all started when Kim Kardashian released the video of Taylor Swift’s phone call with Kanye West on Snapchat.
In the recording, the singer can be heard seeming to approve some of the lyrics to Kanye’s controversial track ‘Famous’, in which he raps that he and Taylor ‘might still have sex’. The bombshell reveal sparked plenty of other spats on the side – including Khloe Kardashian and Chloe Moretz’s Twitter war – but this was the video that started it all.

When Woman’s Day caught up with self-confessed film buffs Will Hall and Jordan Mauger, we couldn’t resist getting them to put their cinematic knowledge to the test!
