Beleaguered Bachelor New Zealand star Jordan Mauger has faced his fair share of critics since his stint on the show ended, but he can always count on one person to back him up – series runner-up Nazanin Khanjani.
At the post-finale Women Tell All event, the bolshie Bachelorette made it clear she was always going to side with her ex-boyfriend, and in a new post on social media yesterday, she threw her support behind Jordan yet again.
Sharing a photo of this week’s issue with Jordan’s Bachelor tell-all featured on the cover, the brunette beauty wrote: “Get your copy of @WomansDayNZ – great read! I completely agree with Jordan & support him 100% in everything he says.”
The Iranian-born landscaper was at the centre of the drama after The Bachelor New Zealand finale aired, drawing attention for her explosive confessions about her overnight date with Jordan and her take-no-prisoners attitude towards her fellow contestants on The Women Tell All.
Her antics may have raised eyebrows around the nation, but when he sat down with Woman’s Day to tell his side of the story, Jordan admitted there was very real chemistry between him and Naz.
“I definitely have a soft spot for her,” he said, hinting that his family had played a part in his final decision between Naz and eventual winner Fleur Verhoeven.
However, the 32-year-old assistant film director insists insists that right now, he’s not looking for romance with anyone.
“I’ve had my fill of dates for a lifetime! There’s still a space in my life for someone, but I just need time to heal from this.”

Behind the scenes with Naz from The Bachelor
The Iranian-born landscaper was at the centre of the drama after The Bachelor New Zealand finale aired.
And while Jordan says his dating days are over for now, Naz is adamant that the two shared a special connection.
“What we did have was just so strong. The feelings are still there, obviously, and possibly on both sides,” she told us in an earlier interview.
Naz and Jordan’s connection was easy to see on the show, with Naz going all the way to the final two before being dumped on the finale.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Naz has spoken out about her relationship with Jordan.
After the show ended, Naz went on air to reveal details of her overnight date with the Bachelor star.
While Naz’s antics may have earned her backlash from viewers across the nation, Jordan admits he still has a definite “soft spot” for the controversial Bachelorette.
