Along with perhaps the most epic gaff in Oscars history, the 2017 Academy Awards brought plenty of couples to the red carpet.
But our favourite red carpet pair-up by far was perpetual besties, Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps.
“I’m so in love with her,” Michelle explained to People
“She’s proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man!”
“That’s the love of my life right there.”
Michelle and Busy held hands as they took a turn down the 2017 Oscars red carpet.
And Busy feels the same way, describing her actress pal on Instagram as “my sweet BFF Michelle.”
You only have to look at these two to know what true love is.
Clearly, the girls are as close as you can get. They’ve been best friends since their Dawson’s Creek days in the early noughties, Busy is godmother to Michelle’s 11-year-old daughter Matilda, and the duo constantly stroll red carpets together hand-in-hand.
So with Michelle’s Manchester by the Sea loaded up with nominations this awards season, her blonde bae Busy has been a staple by the actress’s side at the latest round of annual events.
The duo have giggled their way down the crimson carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Golden Globes, the Critics Choice Awards… not to mention a stack of premieres they’ve attended side by side.
“You know how you have best friends but then you have that best, best, best friend?” Michelle commented to People. “That’s her.”
