Pop superstar Madonna enjoyed a ‘secret fling’ with rapper Drake in 2015 even before the two engaged in a widely-viewed lip lock on stage during Coachella that same year, according to a new report from The Sun.
The publication claims that the pair hooked up, but Drake, 30, promised to keep the relationship a secret.
“Everyone in Madonna’s circle was totally aware there was a brief fling between Madonna and Drake in 2015,” says a source close to the 58-year-old music icon.
Drake and Rihanna’s on-off relationship has kept fans guessing over the years, but it seems the rapper also enjoyed a secret fling with the Queen of Pop herself!

“They knew it wasn’t going to last forever obviously but both of them were single at the time. There was definitely a massive attraction between them.”
The source went on to reveal that while the pair enjoyed their fling, they kept it “strictly secret” and there are no plans for either star to spill the beans.
If the stories are true, it could explain why Drake appeared to be so taken aback after Madonna kissed him during his headline set at the Coachella music festival in April 2015.

Madonna surprised the rapper by smooching him for several seconds, with photographers capturing his expression of total bewilderment and seeming disgust after the pair came up for air.
Drake was forced to do damage control after the incident went viral online, taking to Instagram to write: “Don’t misinterpret my shock!! I got to make out with the queen Madonna and I feel 100 about that forever. Thank you @madonna”.
However, it would seem his efforts to smooth over the situation were in vain, with Madonna taking a dig at him in a later interview.
When asked about the advice she would give to her younger self, she quipped: “Don’t kiss Drake no matter how many times he f—ing begs you to.”
