Five months after welcoming his first son, Freddie Reign, with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, Louis Tomlinson is officially seeking joint custody.

The One Direction crooner is reportedly seeking joint physical and legal custody and a 50/50 split in the division of time he and Briana have with the baby, according to TMZ.

The media outlet also quotes sources who say that Briana has been “inconsistent” in arranging Louis’ access to his son. Meanwhile, People reports the pair had an “interim agreement” in place while they were working on hammering out the details of a long-term custody and child support agreement.

Freddie was born on January 21 in Los Angeles. Louis and Briana dated for a short period in May last year, not long after the singer split from long-time love Eleanor Calder.

While the two are no longer romantically linked, Louis has remained close to the mother of his child and reportedly pays Briana around $15,000 a month in child support, as well as renting a house in Calabasas for Briana and Freddie to live in.

The proud dad has shared plenty of photos of himself and Freddie on social media, including this adorable black and white photo of the pair holding hands posted one week ago.

“Happy Father’s Day to every lucky lad out there who’s someone’s daddy! Thoroughly enjoyed my first. Love you Freddie son X,” he captioned the sweet moment.
