One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has confirmed he’ll be a dad for the first time since the news broke, in a live interview with the rest of his bandmates on Good Morning America.
GMA host Michael Strahan seemingly caught the crooner by surprise as he congratulated Louis on the impending birth of his first child.
“Louis, from one father to another I want to congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood. So how are you feeling?” he asked.
“Thank you. Obviously, it’s a very exciting time,” Louis replied, after taking a few seconds to answer the question.
This is the first time the 23-year-old has publicly spoken out about his baby news since the rumours started circling a few weeks ago. The mother is reportedly Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, who Louis met after splitting from his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
