She’s been out of the limelight for a few years, but 30-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan is announcing her return to television in a big way, by stepping into hosting duties for a new reality TV show called The Anti-Social Network.
The format of the show (which has yet to be picked up by a network) will see Lindsay taking over the Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter accounts of a contestant for 24 hours.
“I’m back, b*tches!” LiLo declares in the show’s new trailer. “I love social media. I am social media. Everybody knows you should never leave your phone lying around, especially near me.”
Is that a threat Ms Lohan?
“So, I’ve decided I’m going to hijack your social media — your Instagram, your Snapchat, your Facebook, your Twitter, all of it — for 24 hours,” she adds. “If you can pull off three challenges, you’ll win some fabulous prizes.”
Sounds pretty good to us!
It’s no secret Linds has been dying to get back on the big screen, after expressing interest in creating a sequel to the 2004 hit film Mean Girls during a Facebook interview in December last year.
“I have been trying so hard to do a Mean Girls 2,” she said at the time. “I know that Tina Fey and [producer] Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount are very busy… I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it.”
