Actress Kim Crossman recently announced her engagement to cinematographer Tom Walsh on her Instagram page. She posted a close-up of her beaming face and a stunning diamond ring with the caption “Yes yes yes!”, appearing to be over the moon.
The pair have been linked professionally in the past, meeting while filming TVNZ’s Snack Masters NZ in 2022. Tom was behind the camera, and the show was hosted by none other than Kim and comedian Thomas Sainsbury.
Those with a keen eye may even recognise Tom from the iconic Tip Top “togs, togs, undies” television advertisement, but we hear he spends most of his time behind the camera these days.
Kim and Tom have been documenting their recent international travels under the Instagram handle @prettyromanticreviews.
Recently, they’ve been in Uganda with World Vision, and before that, Santa Monica, California.
Famous friends were quick to congratulate Kim and Tom on her engagement, including radio host Bree Tomasel, TV presenter Kanoa Lloyd, and actress Antonia Prebble.
It’s been a big year for Kim, who is also the podcast host of Pretty Depressed, a space to talk about mental health. “This past week has been all about confronting some personal blocks and barriers and pushing through them”, said Kim in an Instagram post earlier this month.
