In this week’s issue of Woman’s Day, we got the girls from The Block NZ all glammed up for a DIY-themed photo shoot.
Donning denim and sturdy boots, the ladies looked to be in their element as they strutted their stuff for our cameras.
Of course, it’s a far cry from the situation back at Block HQ, where the teams are frantically putting the finishing touches to their houses as auction day looms ever closer.
But while their time on the hit TV3 show has come with its fair share of challenges, contestants Emma Diamond and Courtney MacKay say they’re proud of all the skills they’ve picked up along the way.
“We had no prior building experience coming on to the show,” laughs Emma.
“It was a learning curve for us.”
