Hunky George has claimed plenty of awards throughout his career as a Hollywood leading man and director, but this one is sure to make an impression.
The Cecil B. DeMille Award, named after one of the most famous directors from the Golden Age of cinema, is considered an honorary Golden Globe.
It’s given to someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the world of entertainment – and with his multiple talents as producer, director and actor, we think George makes a worthy recipient!
Last year, the award was given to Woody Allen, while other winners in previous years have included Jodie Foster, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Morgan Freeman and Robert De Niro.
The ceremony is due to take place in January next year, after George’s upcoming wedding to Amal Alamuddin.
