The Charlie’s Angels star and entrepreneur who already owns her own beauty product line, sunglasses range and wine company ‘Barrymore Wines’, is now adding another string to her bow.
“I’m so lucky that I get to work in such a wide-array of design arenas every day,” Drew told People.com
“It’s so energising.”
In a collaboration with Shutterfly, Drew Barrymore has created ‘Drew Barrymore’s Home Decor Collection’ including colourful bedding, decorative pillows, artwork, linens and ornaments.
The actress was inspired by some of her favourite items in her own home, focussing on a soft colour palette with bright pops, geometric shapes and touches of gold.
“I’m happiest when my home is filled with family and friends. And I want it to be comfortable and inviting for them,” she said.
“There’s nothing more awkward then walking into someone’s house, looking around and not being sure where it’s safe to sit.”
When it comes to decorating eclectically, Drew knows that patience makes perfect.
“You have to buy and decorate from different places over time, which takes patience,” she said. “But it’s so worth it when you eventually walk through a room, and the time that it took to create it disappears, and you have that Oprah ‘aha’ moment, and it has all come together.”
