Did Taylor Swift approve Kanye West’s controversial song lyric? Kim claims couple had proof

New documents reportedly show Taylor Swift demanded Kim Kardashian and Kanye West delete evidence showing she agreed to Kanye's 'Famous' lyrics

It reignited a celebrity feud that’s spanned months, but now it seems Kanye West’s controversial Taylor Swift reference in his song Famous WAS approved by the popstar after all.

Taylor was reportedly furious when Kanye name-checked her in the rap, with lyrics including “I made that b–ch famous”.

But the rap artist has always maintained he got her permission before going ahead with the song.

And despite the 26-year-old repeatedly denying it, proof has reportedly emerged proving Kanye to be a man of his word.

Kanye has always claimed he secured Taylor’s permission before releasing the song that referenced her.

New documents have surfaced in The Sun that purportedly show Taylor demanding that Kim Kardashian and Kanye delete footage they had of her giving permission!

“Taylor got her lawyers to threaten Kanye and demanded that the recording was killed,” an insider revealed to the publication.

“They stressed the phone call was confidential and that publishing it would violate her rights.

“It validates that a taped conversation where Taylor was on board with the song does exist, and just shows how worried she is about the truth coming out,” the source continued.

Tay and Kanye made up after his infamous VMAs stunt, but this feud reopened old wounds.

But it seems Tay isn’t quite ready to bow down to the 39-year-old’s version of events, releasing a statement that read: “Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since.

“Taylor has never denied the conversation took place… [But] Kanye never told Taylor he was going to use the term b—ch in referencing her.

“A song cannot be approved if it was never heard.”

Kim’s still standing by her man.

Kim always stood by her husband’s claim, even backing him up in an interview with GQ recently.

“She totally approved that,” the mum of two revealed. “She totally knew that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t.”

But the blonde bombshell hit back through a spokesperson and a fired-up statement.

It said: “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian, as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West.”
