David, 40, journeyed to Siem Reap to meet the children and see how UNICEF is helping others like them.
The father of four has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the organisation for 10 years now, and he marked that milestone earlier this year by launching 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund for the protection of children.
“I am here in Cambodia to meet children who have experienced violence, hear their stories and see what UNICEF and its partners are doing to keep these children safe,” he said in a statement released by UNICEF.
While in Cambodia, David has also been taking in some of the local sights – including a trip to the renowned Angkor Wat temple complex in Siem Reap.
“Amazing day in Cambodia visiting the Angkor Wat temple … One of the most beautiful places in the world,” he captioned the photo on Instagram.
