The 11-year-old son of Victoria and David Beckham has released his first single, just in time for the Christmas number one.

Cruz Beckham, who is the second youngest of the power couple’s children, has teamed up with Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, to release the track.

If Every Day Was Christmas is a three minute track that was first played on UK radio station, Capital FM, and is already being tipped as the next Christmas Number One for the country.

All proceeds from the single are going to Global’s Make Some Noise Charity, that aim to give support and a voice to small organisations supporting children and young people in the UK.

On the list of who they help are caregivers, mental health charities, support classes for deaf youngsters, and youth groups for those with Downs, among many others.

Parents David and Victoria were understandably bursting with pride at their youngest son’s achievements, with both taking to Instagram to promote the single.

“Proud!” wrote mum Victoria, “Cruz Beckham’s new single helping children in the UK with all proceeds going to Globals Make Some Noise. X”

Likewise, his footballing father David took to Instagram to share a video of Cruz listening to himself on the radio for the first time, writing: “Not his average morning before school… Proud of my little man with his new Christmas single and also helping children around the UK with the proceeds from this.”

“So proud of my little man Cruz Beckham. Hear his first single #IfEveryDayWasChristmas on Capital Offical at 7.30am.”

British TV host Pier Morgan was less than impressed however, writing a scathing attack on the track on the Daily Mail.

In it, he accused the “fame-hungry” Beckhams of cashing in on their children. And asking Cruz “Why don’t you just go to school, mate?”

But agent Scooter Braun defended his latest protégé, telling Piers: “He [Cruz] is an 11 year old who wanted to make a song to help other kids.

“Once again Piers shows why he is a jackass and why his show was cancelled. Some people in this world make a living out of finding the worst in every situation.”

The writer and presenter added that he has “no problem with them playing the fame game. I have a problem with them using their kids to play it.”
