Hollywood hunk Chris Pratt is putting husbands everywhere to shame, as he’s now revealed that he plaits his wife Anna Faris’ hair for her.
“I braid Anna’s hair at night. It’s a nice little ritual,” he told InStyle magazine.
Growing up with sisters, the actor was taught how to braid hair at an early age.
Since marrying girlfriend and fellow actor Anna in 2009, he honed his hairdressing skills and graduated from a traditional plait technique due to Anna suffering from hair loss.
“Her hair started breaking off at the top of the braid because she was sleeping on it,” he revealed.
To prevent further damage to his wife’s hair, Chris sought out an alternative method of braiding.
The thoughtful husband went on to master the more complicated French braid, schooled by his mother-in-law.
“Anna’s mom thought a French braid might distribute the pressure. She taught me when we were in Hawaii shooting Jurassic World,” says Chris.
In 2014 Chris debuted his hairstyling skills on Instagram, with impressive photos of Anna’s braided locks.
Rightly proud of his creations, he included the hashtags #Baller #man#ManBraid #RealMenBraid.
Later that year, Chris demonstrated his braiding techniques when he interrupted an interview with Entertainment Tonight to braid an intern’s hair.
This year Chris was named InStyle magazine’s 2016 Man of Style, a title he finds hilarious and joked about on his Instagram account.
