The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William may have been worried about attending the 70th annual EE British Academy Film Awards, but judging by the wild applause the couple were greeted with – they’re a very welcome addition to the 70th annual EE British Academy Film Awards at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Despite living just down the road from the red carpet event, the royal couple were the last to arrive.

The 35-year-old absolutely stunned in a custom-made, off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen dress with a floral print and belted waist.

The mother-of-two wore her chocolate locks up in a voluminous low ‘do while statement diamond earrings added a dramatic touch.

The British Academy Film Awards, which are the British equivalent of the Oscars, are hosted this year by Stephen Fry.
