After months of speculation, Big Little Lies is making a return.
According to The Hollywood Reporter there will be a second season of the show.
Since first airing in April this year, the show has received substantial recognition, such as an Emmy award for Outstanding Limited Series.
Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodly and Laura Dern, are a few among many actors in the show who have won Emmys for their striking roles.

“I’m thrilled to be bringing back this talented team of artists,” Witherspoon said in a statement.
“I’m beyond excited to be working with talented and acclaimed director Andrea Arnold who will be at the helm. Andrea’s unique storytelling style will be a welcome addition to the film making team.”
According to the HBO press release, most of the cast is expected to return and contract negotiations are underway.
No official dates have yet been given regarding the date of the second season release.
