The win caps off a stellar season for the teen TV star and presenter, whose memories of her late father often influenced her routines.

In week four of the competition, Bindi paid tribute to her dad for the theme of her ‘most memorable year’, breaking down as she talked about their relationship.

“It took a really long time to understand what actually happened,” she said, wiping away tears.

“For the rest of my life, I’ll kind of feel like he’s going to come home.”
