Alison Pugh and her musician beau Jo Barus are officially first-time parents! The loved-up couple welcomed a daughter on October 23, just one day before Jo celebrated his milestone 40th birthday.
Ali first announced her pregnancy in Woman’s Day earlier this year, revealing that she and Jo had been trying for a baby for six months before they got the happy news.

At the time, she said she was looking forward to chatting to fellow Breakfast stars Pippa Wetzell and Toni Street about how they juggled the experience of caring for a newborn and working those “crazy Breakfast hours”.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mum,” she told us in June.
“[Jo] was thrilled … it was the sweetest thing. He’s wanted to be a dad for years.”
The new parents became engaged in May last year and had been preparing for a wedding before their baby bombshell, but Ali told us she was happy to put all wedding plans on the backburner while they waited for their adorable new arrival.
“We were trying for so long, so we were realistic in thinking this could happen,” she said at the time.
