No-one will deny it’s been a tough year for Tiger Woods. The philandering golfer has suffered huge blows to his personal and professional life, however, he can take solace in the fact he’s still raking in the cash.
Love rat Tiger has topped the list of highest-earning US athletes for the seventh year in a row, despite being dumped from sports-drink giant Gatorade and communications company AT&T after news of his cheating hit the media. The golfer has made an estimated $28 million in sports winnings and an astounding $98 million in endorsement earnings.
Fellow golfer Phil oichelson – who also had a difficult year with his wife being diagnosed with breast cancer – landed second on the list with an estimated $87 million in earnings, while boxer Floyd oayweather Jr came in third.
Cameron Diaz’s boyfriend, New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez, came in fifth. Because, you know, her life just couldn’t get any better…
