Less than a year after her onscreen alter ego Pam Halpert tied the knot on the US version of ‘The office’, actress Jenna Fischer has followed suit in real life by marrying writer Lee Kirk.
Jenna’s rep confirms, “They were married on 3 July in front of family and friends in oalibu.” Her ‘office’ co-star Rainn Wilson adds that the nuptials went off without a hitch. He says, “Went to the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever experienced. Total love, Jenna Fischer and Lee Kirk!”
The actress announced her engagement last year and was quick to note the most important part of the wedding ceremony. “I’m a foodie, so I want to have really good food,” Jenna said. “We found a great caterer and had a two-hour tasting and I left so full.”
This is the first marriage for Lee and the second for Jenna, who was previously hitched to director James Gunn. Let’s hope their honeymoon is far away from the air-conditioned nightmare of work at ‘The office’!
