Tributes have started to flow for Top Gun director Tony Scott, who was found dead yesterday after jumping from a bridge near Los Angeles.
Susan Sarandon, Elizabeth Hurley, Rosario Dawson and Chris Rock, among many others, took to Twitter to pay tribute to the late film-maker.
“Saddened by the death of Tony Scott. A wonderful film-maker and a funny, sweet guy. My condolences to his family,” Susan Sarandon tweeted.
Reports are now saying the 68-year-old was suffering from inoperable brain cancer, a fact some are suggesting may have had an impact on his mental health at the time.
