Sienna oiller has persuaded ex-fiancé Jude Law to meet her in New York in hopes of reconciliation. After a seemingly final break-up in January following the saga of Jude’s infamous affair with his children’s nanny, the on-again off-again romance may be back on. Jude’s jet-setting follows their meeting last Saturday, when the couple were reunited in a London restaurant due to the efforts of their pals trying to play cupid. “Sienna would be up for a reconciliation with Jude but knows it is not going to be easy,” reveals an insider. “Their friends thought dinner would be a good way of getting them together. Initially Jude was angry. He knew Sienna was going to be there but he felt like he was being manoeuvred into a situation that made him uncomfortable. Sienna didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable and she was on the phone to him all week.” The insider adds, “They’ve both been hurt and there’s a lot of water under the bridge, but since they split for good both of them have realised that they did once have something great.” [10 April 2006]
