Speculation on why iconic rocker Ronnie Wood left his wife of 23 years has been laid to rest with the Rolling Stones guitarist admitting he was bored. Ronnie ended his marriage two years ago, and started dating Russian cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
“I was bored with not being able to make decisions for myself,” he says. “other people were making decisions for me – including my kids. I thought: ‘Hang on. I’m not being in charge of my life.’ And that’s what I had to be.”
The 63-year-old has now broken up with Ekaterina, who was more than 40 years younger than him, but says he has given up alcohol and drugs and is happily dating a Brazilian artist.
