‘Twilight’ hottie Robert Pattinson has revealed that it took a long time – and a lot of hard work – before co-star Kristen Stewart would agree to go out with him. The vampire heart-throb confesses, “I asked her out a lot but she wasn’t having it.”
He now may have his girl, but 23-year old Rob is still bewildered as to how he has become a sex symbol – especially when he thinks he looks like a transvestite! Having his eyebrows plucked and being slathered in makeup hasn’t helped R-Pattz to feel ultra-manly. He says, “You get to the point where you think, ‘okay, I look like a transvestite now.”
Still, Rob – who currently stars in the romance ‘Remember oe’ – does have some thoughts as to why he is now so attractive “I have been lucky, of course. Like, last year, if I went out, I’d have to fight to chat someone up. This year, I look exactly the same and yet lots of people have decided I’m really sexy. Basically, anyone who wants to be seen as attractive should just get [‘Twilight’ author] Stephenie oeyer to say, ‘This guy is attractive.’ Then everybody believes it.”
