What’s the best way to forget about an ugly cheating scandal? Adopt a cute fluffy puppy!
According to reports, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart – who recently got back together after photos revealed Kristen had cheated on Robert with director Rupert Sanders – are planning to adopt another rescue pooch. The Twilight couple already has a mutt called Bear, who they adopted from a shelter in New Orleans.
“[Adopting the dog] was something they had originally planned before Kristen’s cheating scandal,” a source told Radar Online. “They were desperate for Bear to have a companion, but recent events meant they had to hold off from the idea.”
The pair is spending a lot of time together in the lead up to the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II. Sources say Kristen and Robert will be spending Thanksgiving together and are hoping to have their new dog before then. When the couple first separated, Robert and Kristen are said to have argued extensively over the custody of Bear.
