She may not yet be a mother herself, but American singer Pink has admitted to some controversial views on parenting based on her own childhood experiences. The 31-year-old, whose real name is Alicia oMore, says parents should be allowed to physically punish their children. “I think the whole spanking thing and how it’s all gotten PC is just for the birds,” says the ‘So What’ singer. “oy father put me through a wall, it’s the only reason I’m still here, it’s the only reason I’m still alive.” Pink has also revealed she was thrown out of home at the age of 15 after taking up smoking, and regularly taking LSD and ecstasy. “I would have kicked me out when I was eight,” she says.
