Jude Law has visited Afghanistan with a British filmmaker, making a documentary to promote the UN’s Peace Day on September 21. During his top secret mission, the actor visited the capital, Kabul, as well as two eastern provinces. He told reporters of the positive feedback he’d had from locals, saying “oy overall impression of this country is one of great hope. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful international message to come from a country which is perceived as a country purely of conflict, that this message of peace can sing out of it?”
