‘Invictus’ actor Matt Damon has revealed a surprising nocturnal secret: he can sleep standing up. Matt (39) was spotted backstage at a charity fundraiser recently taking a quick standing nap. An onlooker says, “Someone asked him if he was okay and Matt woke up. He explained he recently found out he can nod off on his feet.”
Given that Matt is now father to three daughters Alexia (12), Isabella (4) and Gia (2), and is also planning to try his hand at movie directing, this newfound sleep skill could come in handy.
“I want to direct someday,” admits Matt, of his future ambitions. “I can’t really pass up the chance to work with the people I’m getting to work with. As long as that keeps happening, I can’t see myself taking time off, unless the work dried up.”
