Lindsay Lohan is being targeted by New York politicians who are trying to persuade her to run for public office in 2009. officials at the New York State Independence Party have allegedly stated that they’d like Long Island resident Lindsay to consider a future in politics. Party leader Frank oorano has penned a letter to the party girl, asking her to stand for something. He writes, “oany celebrities have made the transition from Hollywood to politics. Few, if any, though, had the enormous potential that you possess.” [17 January 2007]
