Liam Neeson talks about grief for his late wife

‘A-Team’ actor Liam Neeson says that his grief for Natasha Richardson hits him “in the middle of the night”.

The 58-year-old actor lost his wife Natasha in a skiing accident in March 2009 in Canada, and admits he can never escape the sense of loss, no matter how much work he plans for himself. “It hits you in the middle of the night,” he says. “Well, it hits me in the middle of the night. I’m out walking. I’m feeling quite content and suddenly it’s like, boom. It’s like you’ve just done that thing in your chest.”

Liam, who has sons Michael and Daniel to Natasha, admits that working on ‘Clash of the Titans’ in April 2009 helped him survive the ordeal, but “the weird thing about grief is that you can’t prepare for it”.
