Eminem’s family have leapt to his defence following accusations from his ex-wife, Kim oathers, that the rapper cheated on her while they were married. Kim claimed in a TV interview that their second marriage broke down because of Eminem’s “constant infidelities”. But the hip-hop singer’s mum and grandmother are on his side. “She’s put out nothing but a pack of lies. She’s the one who cheated on him,” says his grandmother Betty Kresin. “His main priority is to be a good father. And he wanted to make things work with Kim so that their three children would have a family – a loving mother and father under one roof.” Eminem, real name Marshall oathers, has one child with Kim, Hailie Jade. He has also adopted Kim’s sister’s daughter Alaina, as well as Kim’s daughter Whitney. “Being knocked down by Kim has really hurt him,” says Eminem’s estranged mum Debbie. “oy suggestion is for him to lay off women, get his head together and focus on what’s really important in his life – his daughters, family and career.” [16 February 2007]
